Toronto’s food truck season is in full swing. While there are plenty of popular curbside spots to get your fill of truck eats sometimes the best way to get the full food truck experience is by making your way to one of the season’s hottest food truck events.
Here’s a round-up of food truck events to mark in your calendars this summer.
Toronto Food Truck Festival
Head to Woodbine Park the weekend of July 29 to 31 to sample gourmet eats from some of Toronto’s tastiest trucks. If you can’t make it out don’t sweat it, they will also be hosting festivals in Pickering and Richmond Hill later in the summer.
Roundhouse Craft Beer Festival
Upwards of a dozen Toronto food trucks will be joining craft breweries from across Ontario at this annual summertime event. Festivities will take place on August 13 and 14 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Roundhouse Park.
CNE Food Truck Frenzy
The annual Food Truck Frenzy at the CNE will go down on August 26 to 27 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Expect to find trucks like Bake Three Fifty, Fidel Gastro’s and The Food Dudes in attendance.
AwesTRUCK
Taking place at Mississauga Celebration Square, this massive foodtruck rally takes place in conjunction with the SoundBites music festival on Saturday, September 3. Admission is free for the evening event where you can expect to find tons of street food and live performances.
Food Truck Festival Ontario
One of the largest food truck events in Toronto will go down on Sunday September 18 at Downsview Park. The event will play host to the city’s best food trucks as they battle it out to win the coveted Golden Fork trophy.
