A collection of Toronto food trucks will be holding two new and exciting curbside market events in the city where you can come out and try delicious food without even having to leave your car.
One of the markets will be taking place all weekend at 1025 Queensway in Etobicoke, outside the Cineplex at Islington Ave. and Queensway. They will be open on Friday, May 14 from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. as well as Saturday and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be six iconic vendors to check out:
The second curbside market will be happening on Saturday, May 15 at 4258 Bloor St. West in Etobicoke, behind Bloordale United Church from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. featuring the new Coffee Brake food truck.
For each curbside market, you’ll need to choose your location and desired food truck online in advance, then arrive on site during operational hours in the designated parking spaces.
You’ll be given a QR code to scan based on your parking spot which will direct you to a secure payment portal. Once you have placed your order, you’ll receive a confirmation text or email and the food will be brought right to your vehicle.
This event is being organized by FOOD TRUCK’N EVENTS who will be hosting another curbside event in the Beaches in the near future. The date and details have not yet been announced.
