5 food truck events near Toronto this September

Summer may be winding down, but September is packed with some of the hottest food truck events of the season. From festivals to art crawls, these might be your last chance to get the full food truck experience before the trucks pack in for the winter.

Here’s a round-up of food truck events happening near Toronto this September.

The 5th annual AwesTRUCK food truck festival returns to Mississauga Celebration Square on Saturday, September 3 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Expect to chow down on street food and watch awards be given out.

Canada’s Wonderland Food Truck Festival
Canada’s Wonderland will once again be playing host to a food truck festival on September 3 and 4 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the amusement park grounds. The event will play host to 10 trucks from around Toronto and the GTA.

Richmond Hill Food Truck Festival
The inaugural Richmond Hill Food Truck Festival takes place on September 3 and 4 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Richmond Green. Expect to sample gourmet eats from over 30 food trucks from across Ontario.

James Street Supercrawl
The annual Hamilton event will take place September 9 to 11 along James St North. Similar to past years attendees can expect music, art, fashion and street food.

Food Truck Festival Ontario
One of the largest food truck events in Toronto will go down on Sunday September 18 at Downsview Park from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event will play host to some the Ontario’s best food trucks as they battle it out to win the Golden Fork trophy.
