This season is surely the summer of music festivals with Field Trip kicking off the festivities last weekend in Fort York. The one I’m most excited about is the WayHome Festival just north of the city. Along with a great line-up for the weekend, they also have plenty of food truck eats to look forward to. These days, food trucks and live music festivals just seem to go hand-in-hand.
For their inaugural year, they’ve invited a variety of different trucks to be a part of the festival including fan favourites Busters Sea Cove, Hogtown Smoke, and The Food Dudes, as well as some newbies such as Made in Brasil, Heirloom and Fit to Grill trucks bringing us fresh takes on some of our favourite dishes like the Braised Lamb Sandwiches and Matchstick Poutine.
To find out where your favourite trucks will be each day, check back on our food truck calendar or download the Toronto Food Trucks app for iPhone or Android.
