With the amended Toronto food truck proposal headed to City Council for voting on April 2nd, there’s not much for us street food fanatics to do but to hold our breath, and wish for the best. However, while the city anxiously awaits a decision, a few of Toronto’s favourite trucks are getting together for lunch and will be holding a food truck rally right next door to City Hall at Nathan Phillips Square.
Between 11AM and 2PM on Wednesday April 2nd, you’ll be able to find six food trucks set up in the Square serving up gourmet eats. A diverse selection of trucks will be in attendance during lunch including Hogtown Smoke, Caplansky’s Deli Truck, Gourmet Gringos, The Food Dudes, Choco Churros and the new Randy’s Roti truck.
If you have some time on Wednesday, be sure to grab your friends and come out to show your support for Toronto’s gourmet food trucks.
Food trucks will be set up for lunch at Nathan Phillips Square at the corner of Bay and Queen from 11:00AM to 2:00PM. The all important City Council vote will be going down at 9:30AM on April 2nd.
