Hot and savoury eats may be the star of the menu on most Toronto and Hamilton food trucks but there’s also a collection of trucks specializing in ice cold treats. From shaved ice to to frozen yogurt these food trucks are here to cool you down on a warm summers day.

Here’s a round-up of food trucks serving ice cold snacks.

Sweet Snow Shaved Ice
These ain’t your average snow cones. Sweet Snow Shave Ice is Toronto’s very own Hawaiian shaved ice truck. Enjoy shaved ice topped with inventive, naturally sweetened flavour combinations and toppings like condensed milk, ice cream or aduzuki beans

Yogurty’s
This Toronto frozen yogurt chain has gone mobile.  The truck offers a rotating selection of flavoured frozen yogurt and toppings. Come hungry and prepare to build your very own froyo masterpiece.

Bar Ape
The truck may be small but this 40 square foot vehicle is Toronto’s very own slice of Italy. Get your fill of handmade gelato bars in traditional Italian flavours like chocolate hazelnut, pistachio, and white chocolate.

Bake Three Fifty
Hitting the streets just this month, Bake Three Fifty is Toronto’s newest bakery on wheels. The truck offers up the option to build your very own ice cream sandwich. Pick a freshly baked cookie and top it with your choice of ice cream and toppings.

FroGoXpress
This Hamilton froyo truck offers up self serve frozen yogurt on the go. The truck serves a rotating selection of frozen yogurt flavours and tons of fun toppings ready for ultimate customization.
