This Friday, Liberty Village will finally get to take part in the food truck fever that’s sweeping Toronto.
Three trucks including El Gastrónomo Vagabundo, Blue Donkey Streatery and Caplansky’s Deli truck will be serving lunch at the Liberty Towers Presentation Centre, 80 Lynn Williams Street, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We anticipate the trucks will be busy as locals take advantage of the opportunity to try some delicious and unique street food.
For months now, west-enders on Twitter have been asking the trucks to show some love to the other side of Yonge Street.
@foodtrucksto why are there no west end food trucks ever??

Well, they’re finally getting their wish. The pop-up is part of Food Truck Eats, the rotating series of events that has brought trucks to places like the Distillery District, Ryerson and UofT in the past.
