Good news for fans of Gourmet Gringos. The popular Latin food truck will soon be opening a stand-alone restaurant at 1384 Bathurst St. The target (tentative) opening day is Cinco de Mayo (May 5th) although there’s still plenty of construction to be done between now and then.

As detailed on blogTO, the new restaurant will share the Gourmet Gringos name and offer its full menu as well as new options like a gluten-free burrito. The restaurant will also function as a catering and prep kitchen for the truck. It’s the same model that Fidel Gastro’s is using for its soon to open spot on Queen West.
