Traditional pulled pork, Texas-style brisket smoked on board for 18-20 hours, smoked fish tacos, Patron infused smoked chicken – those are just some of the dishes that will be coming out of Hogtown Smoke, Toronto’s newest gourmet BBQ food truck.
Launching this Sunday, June 3 at 99 MRKT (99 Sudbury St. 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.) , owners Mark Wasserman and Scott Fraser plan to showcase their take on authentic southern BBQ with a few mexican fusion accents.
The guys tell me they have an on-board smoker that’s won more competition BBQ championships than any other smoker on the market.
And if that’s not enough, the truck is also tricked out with flatscreens and a satellite dish – perfect for watching the game or seeing your tweet show up live right on the truck itself.
The Hogtown Smoke guys are still putting the final touches on the truck and menu so we will have more from them after the weekend.
In the meantime, make sure you follow the truck on Facebook and Twitter.
