Many of you may know Suresh Doss as one of the guru’s of Toronto’s food truck scene and one of the men behind the exciting Food Truck Eats events we all find ourselves chowing down at throughout the summer season. He’s recently compiled his experiences and vast knowledge of Toronto’s diverse street food scene to pen StreetEats Toronto, a guidebook filled with insider tips, profiles and stories featuring many of Toronto’s favourite food trucks.
To celebrate the launch of his new book, a few gourmet trucks featured in StreetEats will be setting up shop at the front of Sony Centre on Tuesday August 6 serving both breakfast and lunch until 2PM to give Torontonians a chance to get a double dose of food trucks. Between 8AM and 10AM, the trucks will be offering up a unique breakfast menu just for today’s special occasion.

You’ll be able to find the StreetEats Toronto on shelves later this month at Chapters, The Cookbook Store, Good Egg as well as on Amazon. If you’ve been waiting for a Toronto street food bible, this looks to be a great one to start with.
The Sony Centre is located at 1 Front St E (Front St/Yonge St) and will be serving up gourmet eats until 2PM.
