If you’ve been reminiscing about summertime at the CNE, you’ll still be able to indulge in some delicious festival foods at Toronto’s new Food Truck Park. Due to the cancellation of large-scale events this summer, a roster of the trucks slated to serve at Toronto’s favourite annual fair have come together to serve you the food you’ve been missing all season.
Taking place in the P2 parking lot across from Hotel X, Food Truck Park hosts five individual vendors plus an ice cream truck to cool you down in the summer heat. The roster includes I Love Churros, Bacon Nation, Don Titos Tacos, MATT’S Lemonade, and Northern Fried Chicken – so there’s something to satisfy your every craving.
While the food truck events Toronto has seen so far have been strictly takeout, the Food Truck Park will soon unveil outdoor patio seating which will seat up to 50 people under city health regulations. They will also be serving beer on the patio, so if kicking back with a cold pint on a hot summer day sounds good to you, you’ll have to check it out for yourself.
The park will operate on a daily basis, from 5 p.m. – 11 p.m. on weekdays and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and is aiming to operate for the remainder of the summer season.
