If you’re just starting to think about weekend plans, you should consider checking out this Friday and Saturday’s Supercrawl event in Hamilton, an exciting annual street festival that shuts down several blocks of James St North in the city’s art sector and inhabit it with artists, musicians and exciting food trucks from all over the province.
Supercawl is heading into its 5th year and plans on making the event even bigger than the last where they saw an estimated 80,000 people from all across Ontario come out to enjoy the street festival. Their aim is to simply showcase the artistic and cultural area of Hamilton by throwing a block party that’s free to the public.
Among this year’s food vendors will be a number Toronto food trucks who will be making the trip over the James St to take part in this annual festival which include Caplanskys Deli, Buster’s Sea Cove, Curbside Bliss and Beaver Tails. They will of course be accompanied by local Hamilton trucks like Gorilla Cheese and Southern Smoke.
This year, event offers a Supercrawl 2013 app on the iPhone and Android to allow people easily find what’s in store for this year’s street festival. If you’re looking for more info on what the Supercrawl is all about, you can either download the app or check out their website.
