Food truck events in and around Toronto this summer are a great way to try some new offerings for 2019 and get reacquainted with some of your favourites. Some of the biggest events of the season will be taking place throughout July and August so make your calendars and come hungry.
Here’s a round-up of food truck events to check out this summer.
Burlington Food Truck Festival
For 2019 the Burlington food festival will be expanding to three days. It will take place July 19 to 21 at Spencer Smith Park. Admission is free and attendees can expect performances from local talent, cold beer and eating challenges.
Toronto Food Truck Festival
The city’s largest food truck festival will be returning to Woodbine Park for summer 2019. The four-day festival will go down August 2 to 5 and will feature dozens of food trucks from all across Ontario. Admission is free.
Pickering Food Truck Festival
Esplanade Park is the place to be August 9 to 11. The park is being transformed into to a food truck haven and if that’s not enticing enough there’s a children’s village, beer garden and live entertainment stage. As always, admission is free.
CNE Food Truck Frenzy
The annual Food Truck Frenzy at the Canadian National Exhibition will return for 2019. It runs from August 22 to 26 and will showcase some of the Toronto’s favourite trucks like feasTO, Food Dudes and Randy’s Roti.
Brampton Food Truck Festival
Similar to the Burlington Food Truck Festival, the one in Brampton will also be expanding to three days. The food fest will take place August 30 to September 1 at Chinguacousy Park. The event will have 40 trucks present and admission is free.
